YIELDS: 8 servings, each with 3 grams of carbohydrates and 1 gram of fiber, for a total of 2 grams of usable carbs and 1 gram of protein.
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup Italian Vinaigrette Dressing
ITALIAN VINAIGRETTE DRESSING:
- 1/3 cup wine vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1 or 2 drops Tabasco
- 2/3 cu p extra-virgin olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Dressing: Put all the ingredients in a container with a tight-fitting lid, and shake well.
- Coleslaw: Toss the cabbage with the Italian dressing, and serve.
