INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tbs vegetable oil
  • 500g rump steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1 carrot, halved lengthways, thinly sliced diagonally
  • 1 red capsicum, deseeded, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed, halved lengthways, cut into thirds
  • 100g snow peas, trimmed, halved lengthways diagonally
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced diagonally
  • 200g Passage to Asia Teriyaki Chicken stir-fry sauce
  • 450g pkt hokkien noodles, cooked, drained
  • Toasted sesame seeds, to serve
  • Extra thinly sliced green onions, to serve

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Begin by heating 2 teaspoons of oil in a wok over high heat. Cook the rump steak in batches, allowing each batch to cook for about 2 minutes or until nicely browned. Add more oil to the wok as needed. Once cooked, transfer the browned beef strips to a bowl.
  2. Add the thinly sliced carrot and red capsicum to the wok. Stir-fry the vegetables for about 2 minutes, maintaining their crispness. Introduce the halved broccolini and snow peas to the wok, tossing them together with the other vegetables. Add 2 tablespoons of water to help cook the vegetables further. Continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes or until the vegetables are just softened.
  3. Return the cooked beef to the wok, along with the thinly sliced green onions and the Passage to Asia Teriyaki Chicken stir-fry sauce. Stir the ingredients together until they are well combined. Cook for an additional 2 minutes or until everything is heated through and the flavors meld.
  4. Add the cooked and drained hokkien noodles to the wok, tossing them with the beef and vegetables to create a cohesive and flavorful dish.
  5. To serve, arrange the Teriyaki Beef Noodles on plates or in bowls. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the top to add a delightful crunch and nutty flavor. Garnish with extra thinly sliced green onions for a burst of freshness and color.
