  • 8 ounces white mushroom caps, stems removed
  • Salt, to taste
  • 6 fresh mozzarella cheese balls
  • Ground dried thyme
  • ¼ roasted red pepper, cut into small pieces (about ½ inch)

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Begin by lightly sprinkling the inside of the white mushroom caps with salt to taste.
  2. Cut the fresh mozzarella cheese balls in half.
  3. Stuff each mushroom cap with half of a mozzarella cheese ball, ensuring a balanced distribution. Sprinkle a very light layer of ground dried thyme over the cheese.
  4. Top each stuffed mushroom with a small strip of roasted red pepper, gently pressing it into the cheese.
  5. Set your air fryer temperature to 390°F and cook the stuffed mushrooms for approximately 8 minutes. If you prefer your mushrooms to be softer, you can cook them for a slightly longer duration.

 

TIP:

  • For this recipe, we recommend using white mushroom caps. However, if you have white or Baby Bella mushrooms on hand, they will work just as well.
