Whether you choose to bake these scrolls in a pie maker for ultimate convenience or in the oven for a golden finish, you’ll be treated to a slice of pizza perfection that’s perfect for sharing or savoring on your own.

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ quantity of basic pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon pizza sauce
  • 1 ⅔ cups (150g) Perfect Italiano™ Perfect Pizza cheese
  • 50g sliced pepperoni, finely diced

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Begin your pizza scroll journey by rolling out the pizza dough, creating a rectangular masterpiece with dimensions of 20cm x 30cm. Position the dough so that the longest edge is closest to you, ready to embrace the flavorful toppings.
  2. Enhance the canvas of dough with a blanket of pizza sauce, ensuring an even distribution across the surface. Sprinkle one cup of Perfect Pizza cheese over the sauce, allowing it to melt and merge into a cheesy embrace. Complete this layer with the finely diced pepperoni, adding a burst of classic pizza flavor that promises to delight your taste buds.
  3. With the toppings in place, it’s time to transform the dough into delectable scrolls. Begin from the longest edge, rolling up the dough to enclose the flavorful filling and create an enticing cylinder. Gently cut the cylinder into eight equal pieces, revealing the swirls of flavor within.
  4. Pie Maker Method: For the utmost convenience, preheat your pie maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Place four scrolls into the preheated pie maker, allowing the magic to unfold within its confines. After 5 minutes, open the lid and sprinkle a touch of extra Perfect Pizza cheese over each scroll. Close the lid and cook for another 5 minutes or until the scrolls are cooked and adorned with a golden hue. After they have cooled, place them into a zip lock bag or containers, preserving their deliciousness for up to one month. When the craving strikes, simply reheat the scrolls in a pie maker for 5 minutes, and you’ll be treated to the familiar taste of pizza perfection.
