  • 3¼ cups bread flour

  • 1½ tablespoons nonfat dry milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons gluten
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons SAF yeast or 2½ teaspoons bread machine yeast

 

Preparations:

  1. Place all the ingredients in the pan according to the order in the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Set crust on medium and program for the Basic or Tender cycle; press Start. (This recipe is not suitable for use with the Delay Timer.) The dough ball will be sticky.
  3. When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack. Let cool to room temperature before slicing.

 

Yield: 2-pound loaf
