Florida Ice Cream Pie

Florida Ice Cream Pie is a tasty combination of two of the state’s most flavorful treats: coconut and key lime. Great separately, they become an incredible pairing you’ll come to crave on hot summer days.
INGREDIENTS | SERVES 12
2 cups Toasted Coconut Gelato slightly softened
1 baked Sweet Dough Tart Crust
2 cups Lime Sherbet slightly softened
3 cups Marshmallow Meringue
Lime wedges, for garnish
Coconut flakes, for garnish
Monkey Faces
The coconut derives its name from early Spanish sailors, who dubbed the hairy, brown facelike globes coco, meaning “monkey face.” Later, “nut” was added to the end of coco, and thus, the coconut was born.

DIRECTIONS:
1.Spread the gelato into the prepared Sweet Dough Tart Crust pie
shell. Top with the Lime Sherbet.
2. Allow to freeze for 30 minutes.
3. Add Marshmallow Meringue, piling high in the center.
4. Freeze until set. Remove from freezer 10 minutes before serving.
Garnish with lime wedges and coconut flakes, if desired.
