INGREDIENTS:

FILLING:

  • 1 cup ground cashews
  • 1 tsp. ground vanilla bean
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup raw honey
  • 2 tbsp. flax meal
  • 2 tbsp. hemp hearts
  • 2 tbsp. cacao powder

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground cashews, ground vanilla bean, coconut oil, raw honey, flax meal, hemp hearts, and cacao powder. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully combined.
  2. Core 10 apples using an apple corer, creating a hollow cavity in the center of each apple.
  3. Fill each cored apple with the prepared filling mixture, packing it in tightly.
  4. Place the stuffed apples in the slow cooker.
  5. Cook the apples on low heat for approximately 2 hours, or until the apples are tender and the filling is heated through.

 

Once the stuffed apples are cooked, they are ready to be enjoyed. The combination of the creamy cashew filling, hints of vanilla and cacao, and the natural sweetness of honey creates a delectable treat.
