  • ½ cup canned peaches, drained and chopped
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream, at 80ºF (27ºC) to 90ºF (32ºC)
  • 1 egg, at room temperature
  • ¾ tablespoon melted butter, cooled
  • 1½ tablespoons sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1¾ cups white bread flour
  • ¾ teaspoons bread machine or instant yeast

 

PREPARATIONS:

  1. Combine the canned peaches, heavy whipping cream, egg, melted butter, sugar, salt, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg in the bread machine.
  2. Set the bread machine to the Basic/White bread setting and choose either light or medium crust. Press Start to initiate the mixing process.

 

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: 3. While the wet ingredients are being mixed, whisk together the whole-wheat flour and white bread flour in a separate bowl.

  1. Once the initial mixing of the wet ingredients is complete and the machine signals, add the dry flour mixture and bread machine yeast to the bread machine.

  4. Gently shake the bucket to release the loaf, then turn it out onto a cooling rack to allow it to cool completely.
