Hungarian Pea Stew

This Slow Cooker Pork and Pea Stew is a hearty and flavorful dish that brings together tender cubes of pork and vibrant green peas in a rich and creamy sauce. The star ingredients in this stew are the cubed pork and the abundance of green peas. Together, they create a delightful combination of flavors and textures. To enhance the flavors, the pork and green peas are cooked in a mixture of olive oil or avocado oil. This provides a light and subtle taste to the dish while ensuring the ingredients don’t stick to the slow cooker. Almond flour is added to the stew, providing a thickening agent and imparting a delicate nuttiness to the overall flavor profile. Make sure to use gluten-free and allergen-free almond flour to accommodate dietary needs. Chopped parsley is included to add a touch of freshness and brighten the flavors of the stew. It adds a mild herbal note that complements the other ingredients. Water is added to provide moisture and create a flavorful broth for the stew.
