To make gluten free turkey gravy you can simply replace chicken broth with turkey broth or you can use beef broth if you want. If you are serving a large crowd then you can double or triple this recipe. Homemade gravy has its own special place and store-bought gravy cannot beats its taste. This recipe makes a classic gluten free gravy that uses rice flour instead of starch as a thickener and gives rich flavor to it.

Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup water
- 3 tablespoons brown rice flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon poultry seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
Instructions:
- In a small pot add broth and bring it to boil. Meanwhile prepare the slurry for which you need to add brown rice flour into water and whisk well.
- Add slurry in boiling broth while whisking. Now let it simmer for about 7 minutes over low heat and add the rest of the seasonings in it. Cook until your desired consistency and then remove from heat.
- Enjoy your gravy with mashed potatoes, poutine or Thanksgiving meal.
Note: your gravy gets thick, just add more broth while the gravy simmers. If it gets too thin then add more slurry little by little.Store leftovers in refrigerator. It will stay fresh for up to 4 days. It can also be frozen in freezersafe container for up to 3 months. You can make this gravy ahead of time and store in refrigerator. It solidifies in fridge so when you reheat it, whisk thoroughly or add some broth if required. Make sure it is completely cooled before storing.
