  • ¼ cup (60ml) water
  • 2 cups (140g) bean sprouts

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Embark on your culinary adventure by combining the Rosella Organic Sweet Chilli Sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl. This blend of flavors will serve as the foundation for the delicious chow mein sauce. Stir in the aromatic white pepper and cornflour, creating a harmonious mixture that promises to tantalize your taste buds.
  2. Immerse the thinly sliced organic chicken thigh fillets into this flavor-infused sauce, ensuring each piece is coated in the tantalizing blend. Watch as the chicken becomes an integral part of the culinary symphony, absorbing the essence of the sauce in preparation for its starring role.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a generously sized wok over high heat. As the wok sizzles and beckons, introduce the finely chopped garlic, allowing its aroma to dance through the air for a mere 10 seconds. Follow this aromatic introduction by adding the marinated chicken, a performance that unfolds with a mesmerizing sear, creating a golden exterior that hints at the deliciousness to come.
  4. Embrace the art of stir-frying as you introduce the crisp vegetables—finely shredded carrot, chopped pak choy, and delicate green cabbage. Observe as the vibrant colors meld and the textures combine, creating a vibrant visual spectacle within the wok.
  5. The spotlight now turns to the chow mein noodles, their presence adding a hearty dimension to the dish. Toss the noodles into the ensemble, ensuring they are fully coated with the aromatic sauce, while a splash of water lends its magic to the mix, enhancing the symphony of flavors.
  6. Complete the masterpiece by adding bean sprouts, a final touch that brings freshness and a delightful crunch to the creation. As the ingredients intertwine in a flavorful embrace, remove the wok from the heat, signaling the climax of this culinary journey.
