This sauce is so deep and smooth and sweet, you may just want to drink it straight from the pot.
INGREDIENTS | YIELD: 3 CUPS
- ½ cup light cream
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 cups packed light brown sugar
DIRECTIONS:
Stir everything in a pot over low heat until sugar is completely dissolved and the sauce is smooth and creamy. Be sure not to boil, as it could curdle the cream.
