1 cup V8 juice, frozen into cubes
Pinch celery salt
½ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
½ cup crushed ice
1 teaspoon horseradish
4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
Juice of 1 lime
1 cup V8 juice, very cold
Bloody Mary
There is a lot of speculation about the origin of the Bloody Mary. It seems that an original recipe of equal parts vodka and tomato juice, created by George Jessel, an entertainer and movie producer, was transformed into the drink we know today by one Fernand Petiot in the 1930s. Petiot was a bartender at Harry’s New York Bar in Paris, a haunt for expats such as Ernest Hemingway.
DIRECTIONS
Place everything into a blender and blend until smooth. Divide into two tall glasses to serve.
